Tara Reid first appeared in commercials for television while just a tiny child. Her breakthrough was when Tara Reid made an appearance in Saved by the Bell: The New Class. American Pie was the cult hit about sexually active teenagers in which Reid's character Vicky became a favorite in Hollywood. None of it was enough to lead to a highly success Hollywood Career. Reid was a misfire with films like Josie and the Pussycats. The brief appearance for her in American Pie 2 did nothing help her resurrect her career. Reid is known as a celebrity party-goer as well as a designer, rather than a real actress. her offscreen flimsies and publicized cosmetic surgeries has led her to be an unpopular actress.
